Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (herbed cheese recommended) For extra flavor
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup almond flour Can substitute with crushed pork rinds for zero plant carbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional herbs for extra flavor (e.g., thyme, oregano) Use at your discretion

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, shredded cheese, eggs, almond flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. If using, add optional herbs to the mixture.
  4. Transfer the mixture into a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45-50 minutes or until the meat is cooked through and the loaf is firm.
  2. Let it cool before slicing.

Notes

Cool completely before storing. Wrap slices or place the loaf in an airtight container. Keep in the fridge for up to 4 days. Freeze slices for up to 3 months. Allow thawing in the fridge or warming in the oven/microwave.
