Ingredients
  

For the filling
  • 4 oz cream cheese Soften for easy mixing.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the toast
  • 4 slices of bread Use thick slices to keep filling inside.
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Butter for cooking Add more as needed to prevent sticking.
  • Maple syrup for serving Drizzle on top.

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Spread cream cheese mixture between two slices of bread to create a sandwich.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and cinnamon.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add butter.
  2. Dip the stuffed bread in the egg mixture, coating both sides.
  3. Place in the skillet and cook each side until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with maple syrup.

Notes

Cool the toast to room temperature if storing. Reheat in a skillet or oven until warm. You can freeze for up to 1 month and thaw in the fridge before reheating.
